Our Cheshire bathroom remodeling contractors received a phone call from this young couple who were interested in remodeling their master bathroom. They discovered Bencar Building Systems through an online search of remodel contractors and bathroom remodelers in the Cheshire CT area.
Following our first appointment with them where we explained Bencar Building Systems' Remodel Process, they scheduled appointments and headed to Bender Showrooms in New Haven and North Haven Ceramic Tile in Wallingford where they worked with them for fixture and tile selections.
They were going for a clean black matte and white theme and they found what they wanted at Benders in the black matte finish
At North Haven Ceramic Tile they selected a 6x24 glazed porcelain tile for the floor. A simple 3x6 white glossy subway tile was used for the shower walls along with a 2x2 mosaic ash colored tile for the shower floor. They went with a black grout for the shower to round out their black and white theme. Also included with the shower selections was a wall niche, a white saddle and the Schluter-Kerdi waterproofing system to keep everything nice and dry!
Final part of the project was installation of the Fleurco shower door which was the Horizon style in-line door and panel with hardware in matte black and we were done.
Before the project started they were given a schedule along with a list of questions concerning everything from color of switches for the room to whether there were any pets in the home.
