These Wallingford homeowners have lived in their home for fifteen years and were ready for an update. They wanted to keep the footprint the same but were interested in adding more cabinet space. They were getting by with wire shelving around the refrigerator but wished for something permanent with doors. First visit is to meet and listen to their likes and dislikes and wishes for their kitchen remodel. We took measurements and pictures and notes and talked about everything involved in the project. Function, cabinets, appliances, lighting, walls, ceiling and budget. We sent all this information to our kitchen designer at Bender Showrooms in New Haven who put together a layout that they were pleased with.
They made their cabinet, countertop and fixture selections during a visit to Bender Showrooms. Fabuwood cabinets in a Galaxy door style in a Linen finish. The granite they selected - St. Cecelia Lt with a pencil edge - came from East Stone and the pulldown faucet is a Kohler product. Next they visited North Haven Ceramic Tile and selected a Coretec Plus 7"x48" solid vinyl flooring is St. Andrews Oak for the kitchen as well as the front entry. The backsplash is a Calisto 3"x6" tile in the color Nut with a Khaki grout. Everything pulled together beautifully! This particular kitchen took five weeks start to finish and the homeowners love it!
